SOAP STONE MOON
The Grelek homeworld has a soap stone moon, or a moon shaped like a bar of soap. This is because the moon was one of the vary first created solar bodies to be made by creature hands. Greleks worship the moons. They have created many moons since their first, but the soap stone moon is the oldest of their creations. But, one of their other prized moons they've created is Earths, and they are constantly checking on it.
Moons are not only their work of passion and worship, but they harbor their hidden language in the forms of craters, but so far no race has figured out the language.
Greleks religion is heavily worshiping the stars, but their god is the moon that smashed into their home world and brought new life.
They have a very large understanding of the solar system, stars, meteors, and suns. And, they are all worshipped within their religion, but the moon is most important for maintaining life. This is why Earth moon is deemed to be a perfect moon, a perfect god.
Daytime vs Nightime
Daytime for Greleks is when their moon is high, which lights the sky up a bright cyan blue.
The moon provides a crisp cooling for them to roam the surface of their home, but this bright light reflected comes from a dangerous sun they orbit. The suns rays fully penetrate their atmosphere, and makes things incredibly hot an moist. Like a greenhouse everything starts to get soggy and sticky. Between these fine lines are clouds and occasional storms that can get pretty bad. But Grelek buildings are built to not only trap in the cool crisp air and keep them from the harm of their sun, but is made of special home world material that can withstand even the suns damage heat. Often making their ships out of this reflective metal, but they also coat it in a thick tar like liquid that absorbs the suns radioactive heat waves entirely, just as an extra protective.
Greleks can also regenerate their climbs after some time, but it's a tedious process. Their blood is a deep oily navy blue.
However when a Grelek is about to die, their body turns rigid and rocky, before breaking apart like dust.
KIGHT BIRD
Kight birds are usually harmless in small flocks. But, when a Brood Mother is near Kights can become hostile and their sharp wings can do serious damage to a lone hunter or any animal really. They are carnivorous birds, but they become extremely unpredictable when a Brood Mother is around.
Kight Brood Mothers are the ultimate danger to a Grelek like a Dragon is to a villager. Brood mothers cannot breath fire but they lead hoards of Kight birds with them that can really damage a Greleks structure, bridges and more. Brood mothers need a large feast, and when they are around food and hunting for Greleks become increasingly low as the Kights only leave behind bones at most. However, domesticated Kights are used to help Greleks determine the weather and if there is a bad storm coming.

GRELEK WATERS
One common item within Grelek waters is Silver Coral, they look allot like Aluminum Ant Sculptures. These Corals can be hand held by humans, or they can be as big as a house!
JINX
A large 5'4ft shelled horned rodent that floats around, very fast very agile, and if provoke they usually take off at high speeds, but can also retaliate and hit targets with their hard coned spiraled shells. It is like getting it by a small car. If they do it right, it can outright kill, but often times they just do a warning tap, which is like a light bonk on the head to the body to send the attacker off their feet.
To humans they'd be classified as a flying slug, but they are considerate a rodent to the Greleks, often ruining crops and being a pain.
GRELEK SHIPS
- Travelers, A small compact ship that holds no solid looking form aside from a Reflective Halo.
Commonly mistaken for a Black Hole as they have a striking resemblance.
- Haulers, Large octopus looking ships that are roughly planet sized.

GRELEK HOMEWORLD

A planet of of dry cooling air. Fungi like trees grow tall, to the size of human homes or even larger. Dropping a special Pollen within the air that the winds blow. Most pieces on this planet have learned to adapt to breath in this refined pollen on large masses. That is why the Grelek people have slitted facial structures under their eyes so they can properly sift the air for this pollen when breathing.
The hue of this planet composes of a cyan blue sky and orange foliage or even some dim rusted red colors. Grelek structures are usually ebony black and fractal in nature given their attractions to structures they find in nature.
Their planet is made of up fractal patterns, it is the most common pattern found.
Kight birds are the common species friendly to most and any creatures really, they are often flying the sky in small packs. Shaped like kites, they gluide through the crisp cool air.
THE THREE GENDERS
Greleks have three genders, what humans believe to be Male, and Female, but the third is called a Yut''male.
Reproduction requires all three to be present, with the Male have to prove themselves worthy to both Female and Yut''male.
During their annual mating season, males experience fits of violent rage an increase in sexual hormones, they will often fight for the right to mate. Or, isolate themselves for various reasons, but this can be seen as shameful depending on the clan.
As a part of a successful mating ritual, the males give 2 disembodied heads of their enemy or worthy kill as a gift to their mates.
Greleks will not breed with sickly Greleks, this can be mentally, physically or emotionally.
Cross breeding between a Grelek and another race is possible, but depending on the gender, they are flawed in reproduction.
A Yut"male has to be included in order for a male or female Grelek to breed successfully with another and produce a child.
A social taboo forbids any Grelek to express any emotions directly with other members by using their flagella net.
A Flagella net is part of their Flagella frills, which are like the gills of an Axolotl (The frilly bits on their head).
These Flagella strands that come off the back of Grelek heads are attached to a fractal looking net that can either be fully solid like the webbing between octopus arms or slightly holy like blue sea fan corals.
These nettings change colors, shape and express the Greleks desires and emotions without words. They use this during the actual mating faze with the opposite genders and are incredibly sensitive to touch.

The water on the Grelek homeworld is much denser than earth water. You can literally walk on it. Like a molten Jello, moving with the increible force, it is one of the most dangerous places to be out at sea. Though there is a plenty of land, there is much more water. There is of course natural earth like water, but it is only found in higher altitudes.
Grelek ocean water is thick and very hard penetrate without something sharp to part it easily if it is moving fast. However if Grelek ocean water is sitting still and stagnant then it can be sank into sort of like a goo, or quicksand, and becomes incredibly hard to move and get out of, acting like a sap. But, not only can it do that, the most dangerous part comes from Fractal waves. They are highly unpredictable.
Imagen a normal wave, but at the peak of its rise the water then begins to back track and either creates another wave above that. These waves can break off randomly and fly in various direction before they come crashing down. Trying to predict a fractal wave is not worth the risk and once one is spotted, it's best to get away.
Fractal tunnels in waves are another phenomenon on the Grelek oceans. Often when a fractal wave is being formed, it has the chance to invert in on itself and create a tunnel right through to the other side, but its collapse is undetermined, so it can be dangerous to travel through if one isn't familiar with them.
VISITING EARTH
Greleks visit earths solar system every 300 years to check on the moons.
They do not stay long, they only fly by the solar system to spot the moons, but visiting the planet itself not worth the extended trip.
FOOD & DRUGS
Greleks have no mouths, they can't consume food like species that manually need to chew and digest their foods.
Greleks can only consume solid foods, ground up into fine dust. Sometimes the sun is required to dry out certain foods that may contain liquids so they can be ground up into a powder, to which the Greleks then put to the slits on their face and breath in.
The Greleks have a separate internal tub within their bodies that takes these 'foods' to their stomach to be digested.
They consume very little water, to the point humidity is enough of a drink for them. However, certain foods, espials human processed food can have nasty affects on them. One of which is ground up coffee beans. They are highly addicting, and like a drug can cause serious side effects to a Grelek like that of cocaine to a human. The ground up bean is forbidden amongst Greleks, however that has not stopped a branched off set of traitors from using it to make money, since Earth is the only spot with such a reenable source.
